Add Prefix to local extension when making VOIP calls

Hi.

Another way to translate could be

voice translation-rule 100

rule 1 /^5...$/ /123\0/

Add Prefix to local extension when making VOIP calls

http://draganchilly.blogspot.com/2009/11/call-manager-and-call-manager-express.html

especially this:

CME advanced examples:

/^\(5..\)/ /1234\1/

- match numbers in 500-599 range and transform it in 1234500-1234599

Re:Add Prefix to local extension when making VOIP calls

Hi Manish,

This is the config , you can see the translation rule 3 is the one for this purpose and is named as AUH-Test , and the profile have been added to dial-peer to where the prefix of the local extension should be changed and shown to the remote end with the added prefix .

voice translation-rule 1

rule 1 /^30/ /9/

rule 2 /973/ /9/

rule 3 /111/ /91/

rule 4 /444/ /90/

rule 5 /20/ /99/

rule 6 /^968/ /9/

!

voice translation-rule 2

rule 1 /44/ //

!

voice translation-rule 3

rule 1 /^86...$/ /123\1/

!

!

voice translation-profile AUH-Test

translate called 3

!

voice translation-profile remove-prefix

translate called 1

!

voice translation-profile uk-prefix

translate called 2

!

!

dial-peer voice 72000 voip

translation-profile outgoing AUH-Test

destination-pattern 72...

session target ipv4:10.28.2.2

codec g711ulaw

Thanks

Adarsh
