Adding h.323 gateway into Route grout

At CCM 4.2 - is it possible to adding h.323 gateway into Route group/list? When I try it, at "Insert Route Group" page I dont see any of my installed (and working) gateways. Why?

you can only add h323 gateways to Route Group's Only not Route Lists. So the order I usually set things up is: Setup H323 Gateway, Setup Route Group containing Gateway, then setup Route List with containing the Route Group.

Now I have seen instances where the H323 Gateway will not show up as an available device for the Route Group if it is already used in a Route Pattern that sends calls directly to the Gateway instead of a route list.

In that case you have to temporarily send those calls in the Route Pattern to some arbitrary device then finish the setup of your gateway/route group/route list and then re-confgiure your route patterns to go to the route list rather than directly to the h323 gateway.

You are right....the gtwy are already used at Route patterns, and thats a reason....
