Adding services to Cisco Ip phone

Greetings all,

I would like to ask for a help for adding weather feature to Cisco IP Phone 7945. For security reasons, the phone should retrive the tempreture from our company database. Are there any suggestions ? or a good tutorial to start with ?

Cisco phones don't deal in plain text or HTML, but rather XML. You'll need a web server to pull the data from your company database and send it to the phones in XML. Look for the IP Phone Services SDK on developer.cisco.com for details of the XML format.
