After upgrade CER from 7.1.1.3 to 8.5, I cannot login to the CER Admin webpage

The Cisco IDS service is stopped and cannot be started.

When I rolled back version to 7.1.1.3 Cisco IDS starts, but it continues failing on 8.5. The only pages available are the OS and DR.

This is the hardware running CER v. 7.1.1.3, by documentation it seems that hardware is supported, but I am not sure if I am missing something here.

Other thing, because this is a new hardware we have not yet installed the server license, do you think that might be causing the problem?

Any feedback will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

This was fixed by deleting the dns entries on server and IDS started.

After the cutover we will add the DNS entries aagin
