Hi,
after the installation of CUCM 7.1(3) RTMT starts logging the following error from the Publisher node:
At Tue Nov 24 12:27:18 CET 2009 on node x.x.x.x; the following SyslogSeverityMatchFound events generated: SeverityMatch - Alert mgetty[18471]: cannot get TIO: Input/output error SeverityMatch - Alert mgetty[18471]: cannot get TIO: Input/output error
Everything seems to work fine, but...
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks
Best Regards
Roberto

Hi Roberto,
Did you manage to fix this problem? I have a customer with 5 servers in ther cluster and only one of them is reporting this issue.

Jon

Hello
mgetty is a application that allows you to connect a console to a serial port and get a login prompt.
This error could be considered as cosmetic, and does not affect the operation of the CUCM.
Possible options for the error:
1. There is a device that should not be connected to the serial port
-> Disconnect that device
2.There is a serial port in the server and it is disabled in the BIOS
-> Enable the serial port in the BIOS
3. There is no serial port in the server and it is enabled in the BIOS
-> Disable the serial port in the BIOS
Thanks
Fernando
