All Details Phone import

Hi All,

     I'm going through an CUCM upgrade and am using the phone export "All Details" on a cluster version 8.X, massaging the data and trying to import into version 9.X however I'm getting an error saying the field "CALLING PARTY TRANSFORMATION CSS" is invalid.  When I delete that column in excel I get an error saying the " " field is invalid?  Is there a way around this error?  Anyone else run into this?  Error below:

All Details Phone import

So when I was doing my last upgrade and export all details with phones I took an export from both version and then compared the headers... Highlighted any differences and change any fields that may have be renamed to the new version.

Let me try to see what you are experiencing between 8 and 9.

Thanks for the reply Gregory, I tried that but no luck.  I ran an export from a version 8 server and the "calling party transformation CSS" column is there.  I then ran an export from the new version 9 server and that column isn't there.  I deleted that column from the version 8 export and got the error saying (blank) is not a supported field.  Is it a cruel joke from Cisco or am I missing something easy to fix this?...lol

So I goofed I did both exports from 8.6 whoops...

See attached. 

I would deleted CP column CP form 8.6  and make sure you have appropiate valuse in for all new fields.

But if you are doing this correctly It should work as it did for me in the past.

I would also do a sanity check on your file make sure you don't have an extra , or something that is throwing it off.

I have had users that put ' in the last name and it goofs up only that record.  Your error message is almost stating that the an extra column exist that is labeled blank.

Weird I agree.  Let me know how it goes.
