All owners of a cisco 1760 listen up - info inside

my cisco 1760 router won't boot up any more, cause the "cookie" is broken.

In rommon> the command "cookie" only outputs only 00 00 00 - a lot of zeros.

I think I know how to fix this, but therefore i need a cookie-dump of a running 1760 router.

Ok - let's start.

In order to show the cookie, you have to boot your router into rommon. So set the config-register to 0x2100

then issue the command "cookie"

a message block is the output.

Copy this block and either send it to my email-adress or post it here in the forum.

Then set the config-register back to what is was before (e.g. 0x2104), power cycle and continue operation.

Thx in advance
