I have 4.x pub/sub and bought 2 new MCS running 7.x. and dna all 4.x to 7.x so now have a production 4.x as well as a 7.x with the 4.x info. I plan to kill my 4.x, change option150 and have all phones re-register to the 7.x. I want to setup tftp to make this migration faster. Per 7.x SRND, I will make the 7.xPub and 7.xSub a redundant tftp via the dhcp scope, but am confuse if I can use the 2 old 4.x as mix-mode/dual-mode (see page 3-25). If so, this will mean I have 4 tftp servers which I can manipulate the dhcp scope's option150 at multiple remote locations to use as each remote location has a redundant dhcp server. Has anyone configure this via the "alternate file location" parameter with the "host" command?
