Alternative Calls from CCM to a GW via PSTN

Hi to all!!!

Sometimes when a gateway lost the comunication with CCM and starts the SRST mode we have configured the gateway to make outgoing calls by PSTN. I have the next problem:

1. I have a Ip phone registred in CCM ext. 1000

2. I have a Ip phone no registred in CCM on SRST mode ext. 2000

3. When 2000 tries to call 1000 exit for PSTN via gateway using dial-peer

4. When 1000 tries to call 2000 goes to CCM and search for this ext. if find it try the call but like this Ip phone is not registred in CCM the call fail.

I have try to do a route pattern with this 2xxx but don`t works. Only goes if the pattern is diferent and i remove the digits. example 992xxx and use transformation mask with the PSTN.

Sorry for my english but i hope that i`ve explained good.

Thanks!!!!

Re: Alternative Calls from CCM to a GW via PSTN

Hello,

There is a new line forwarding setting that was included on CCM 4.2, it is called Forward Unregister Internal/External; if you have that CCM version or a greater version you just need to access the line of that SRST phone on CCM and put the Outbound dialing number there, that way, if the phone unregisters CCM will match the DN and will proceed with the Forward.

Please check these links:

Hope this helps!
