Always up Meetme

Is there a way to fire up a MeetMe conference permanently? I would like to have a bride open at all times for people to use at will.

No. At least one participant must remain in the conference to keep it open.

We tried tranfering one meetme to another to keep it up and that used to work but not anymore. I'm thinking something is defferent with the newer version of Call Manager. If anymore ideas come about please post. Thanks

Hi Sean, you can join two meetme conferences together, but they will only stay active until you are hit the maximum call duration, which on my version (CM5.X) is up to 720 minutes.

The good news is that you can increase it up to 35971, which is quite an amount, but the problem is that you will allow the situation in which a call can be left alive for quite some time if the user didn't hang the handset correctly and increase the bill for that call.
