Am I OK for voice if I am running ENTERPRISE BASIC IOS ?

If I want to run VoIP on my 2610 routers (running XM image c2600-j1s3-mz.123-16.bin) do you know whether I can setup the FXO voice card and make this work if I have the ENTERPRISE BASIC image ?

Someone told me that I should run the IP Plus IOS. However, the Cisco Feature software navigator and the (config)#? commands below seem to indicate that the ENTERPRISE BASIC I am running does support voice. Please confirm whether I will be OK with the ENTERPRISE BASIC image, including when installing the appropriate voice cards onto my C2610.

Thanks much !

Software Advisor at this link would be your best tool to answer this.

I checked that out and yes Enterprise Basic would support your FXO card but that depends on the FXO card model.

VIC-2FXO ---> 12.3.16 Enterprise Basic would support. This is the IOS you mentioned above.

For other models, like VIC2-2FXO or VIC2-4FXO, you will need Enterprise Base feature set and a T train.

Please see attached outputs from Software Advisor.
