Usually X.0.1 versions do not go on cisco.com such as 8.0.1 or 9.0.1 because new licenses are requered. You have to go through the product upgrade tool (PUT) so that the software and a license is obtained.

Hi,
I think the release date is pushed and will not come this months also.
It was Mid of July, but they changed to Mid August, but I think it will not be FCS in Aug also.

When are the ISO's going to be on the Cisco download website? I'd like to upgrade our 8.6.2 environment.
Any word about when the NFR kit is going to be released?

How does this work for customers using UCSS? Do I have to run through the PUT for this, or can I just upgrade their platform with an ISO and then request a new license at license@cisco.com?

Hi Ruud,
Once the FCS has been announced the ability to order these
versions will be available via PUT. But it's usually a few weeks
later
I just tried ordering CUCM 9.x via PUT and even though
9.x is listed the procurement will not proceed. Like Joe nicely noted
the 9.0(1) version probably won't post the .iso to software downloads.
Just a word of caution...we will probably only want to run 9.x in the
lab for some period of time to let the bug fix releases come into play.
Cheers!
