ARC Operator Console - Voice Setup delay

Hi ,

I have two clusters both running 8.6.2a

At one site i have Arc Console v 5.1.4

We are trying to transfer using the operator console across to the other cluster using  and ICT (SIP) to a standard cisco phone.

The call is placed and rings with no delay, It is then answered but there is a 6-7 sec delay before the voice channel is setup.

Observations so far.

No delays locally i.e calls transferred within the  cluster.

The call placed is a g711u call , with no transcoding, MTP etc

SIP trunk has MTP off

Both Blind and Consultative transfer show the delay.

I am a bit lost on where to go next with this , anyone seen similiar issues.

ARC Operator Console - Voice Setup delay

Just to add to this , i have managed to fix this with the extra registry key Direct transfers = ALL

This stops ARC transferiing the call to a CTI port before the actual transfer to the destination.

However , if i use a H323 ICT trunk set for fast start i don't need to add this.

It seems to be something to do with the SIP ICT and ARC , i doubt anyone has seen this but maybe this might help someone in the future.
