AS5400 as Voicegateway

Hi Experts,

I have one Cisco AS5400 with E1 and PVDMII-64 modules on it. I want to add this AS54 as a voice gateway in Call manager 8.5, is it possible? how? Is there any guide? or steps?

Amir,

I believe you can add this as a h323 gateway in cucm or create a sip trunk to the gateway in cucm.

Hi Amir,

please refer the datasheet which says it can be configured for H.323, MGCP and SIP.

Could not find any DOC but I think config would be somewhat similat to other ISR /ISRG2 routers

This document shows you how to add h323 gateway in cucm.

Once you have added the gateway to cucm, you then need to configure your gateway as follows:

1. configure the interface that will be used for h323 signalling..

interface

h323-gateway voip interface

h323-gateway voip bind srcaddr X.X.X.X

2. Configure your dial-peers.
