ATA 186 issue

hi,

I am trying to connect ATA 186 to a 3750 POE switch. ATA 186 has external power. for some reason, the link on the switch port does not come up when ATA is connected. tried connecting a cisco ip phone on the same switch port and the phone works fine. Checked for ethernt link status on the ATA and it is lit up. Checked for settings on the switch port, switch etc; nothing seems to work. Also, replaced the ATA with a new device as per TAC's recommendations. Am I missing something?

Try forcing the speed/duplex to 10/half on the switchport.  I've had issues getting the ata to auto negotiate on a gig port and had to do that.
