I have never used ATA's before and soon I will need to deploy around 10 for a project to support FAX and PDQ machines (card processing systems) based in the UK.
Can someone please clarify what are the licensing requirements for each ATA connecting to a CME system also do we need to use ATA188-I1-A (600 Ohm impedence) or ATA188-I2-A (complex impedence) what are the differences?
Are there any specific configuration requirements for ATA's to be used with Fax & PDQ machines?
I wish I had an answer for you but I have a somewhat similar question.
I have some ATA 186/188 2 port devices and I am trying to get them loaded in to UCM 220.127.116.110-3. All I can seem to find in the loads and firmware is the 1 port devices. The specific part number is as follows: ATA186-I2-A/ATA188-I2-A. Any assistance would be really appreciated.
