I could use a hand with a ATM T1 setup as I have never done one before. (Moving from a phone switch to CME 4.1)
We have an ATM t1 coming in with 10 lines for phones into our 2821. Each line has a specific telephone number linked to it. When the 1st line is busy, the Telco hunts to the next free line. When calls are outgoing, the first free line should be chosen, and the call placed.
The Secretary has the main line and answers all calls and transfers them to internal extensions. Internal extentions can also call out.
You do not have ATM, it appears you may have T1 CAS.
Since it seems like you have no previous experience in CME telephony, I would recommend you hire a reputable consultant ot certified cisco partner for the complete setup, as if you try this by yoiurself it will be very time consuming and leading to frustration.
