Auto Answer speaker phone internal line, but not PSTN call?

Is there anyway to change the behavior of the auto answer configuration for each line? Clearly, it's either on or it's off. But the customer has an old key system that auto answers internal calls, but when external PSTN calls come in, the phone rings 4 times, then to VM. I have played around in MGCP with the ONNET OFFNET setting and that did not change anything.

Service Parameter? Or is this not possible in CUCM

It is possible but won't be a decent solution.

You may configure same DN in different partition for the same phone. Then assign different CSS for the incoming GW and internal phones. So they can reach "different DNs" in different partitions.

Just keep in mind, same DN in different partitions are treated like different DNs in CUCM.
