Auto-Attendant Answering Time

Hello everyone,

Where in CME - or CLI can I configure the amount of seconds (or rings?) the receptionist's phone waits before Auto Attendant kicks in?

I've searched for a how to but no luck.

Thanks!

Al

Re: Auto-Attendant Answering Time

Al,

Assuming you are talking Direct-Inward-Dial to a receptionist number or set of receptionists hunt numbers, on the last Ephone DN you would use the 'call-forward noan' command. Here is the command below.

call-forward noan 2000 timeout 18

! Sends the call to the AA pilot of 2000 after 18 seconds.

If this doesn't answer your question, please post your CME configuration so we can see what you are referencing.

Fred,

Great thanks for the reply.

The noan 2000 timout 18 is what I was looking for.

I just wish I could've found it myself!
