Auto Dialling

Hi Guys, a customer of mine is experiencing a strange problem and i wondered if any of you have seen it before. They use a ‘feature’ on the 7945’s they have where they will dial the number on the keypad without picking up the receiver, the display matches what they are dialling with previous dialled numbers and as soon as they have a highlighted match they pick up the receiver and the phone dials (as though they pressed dial). However shock horror, 3 of the phones are not doing this right, in fact on occasion the phone has just dialled an internal number they have apparently not dialled before. If they reset the phone it wipes the previous calls list and it starts to work ok until the list starts to get populated. They tell me this is only happening on 3 phones.....has anybody any ideas???
