auto-register VG224 ports on CallManager 4.2(3)sr2b

How can auto register VG224 ports with CCM. I tried below but did not work. Manual port registration works.

1. System >> Cisco Unified CCM >> uncheck “auto registration disable on ...” .Configure auto registration range and partition. Clicked update and reset devices. Is clicking "reset devices" necessary as it resets other registered phones?

2. Make sure Default device pool points to correct CallManager group and CSS.

3. Configure below dial peer on all ports on VG224.

Note: The default device pool is not pointing to a Callmanager group in which “Auto registration CallManager is selected” is checked. Will this effect?

I even tried what is mentioned in the note which is required as per the procedure but with no luck.
