Auto select line 2 for outgoing calls 7941G CUCM 8.6

George Banuelos

Greetings,

Have a request for setting up Auto-select of line 2 on a 7941G for outbound calling when going off-hook.  The 'Always Use Prime Line' option is set to off, but this setting is used to allow atuomatic line selection for inbound calling and not outbound.  How can this be configured on CUCM 8.6?

Thank you,

George

Hi George,

Although this feature is an option on some older PBX's like

the Nortel CS1000 it has never been available for CUCM

You could try opening PER to try and get this added in a future version.

Cheers!

Hi George,

Only your Cisco account team (CAM & SE) can open a

PER (Product Enhancement Request) on your behalf. You

will need to work with them for this requst. I have seen this

requirement/need discussed here a few times so you're probably

not alone

Cheers!

Rob
