Has anyone ever implemented an automated announcement and/or emergency notification tool that either integrated into CallManager directly or via H.323/SIP/POTS that has the ability to record a greeting and schedule to call outbound to the PSTN to play the greetings. The PSTN destinations would be retrievable via flat file or database.
The solution doesn't need to be too big as there are only about 300 PSTN numbers required to be reached.
We have found hosted solutions are way too much for our taste (~$60k).
I would appreciate any company suggestions that could provide this tool for our needs.
Thanks.

There is a product called Cisco Emergency server which works in conjuction with Callmanager.

I am not referring to notification emergency personnel when 911 is dialing.
I am asking about a tool that would dial out to PSTN destinations and spit out a pre-recorded message.

This should be able to be accomplished with some scripting in Cisco IPCC Express.
