B-ACD welcome script start delay

I have configured CME 4.1 on 2811 router with IOS IPVoice 12.4(15)T. The b-acd is configured successfully but when i dial the aa-pilot extension the welcome audio starts exactly after 20secs. The debug command shows the following results.

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

Which type of ports you have, how the DP for aa looks like?

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

I have both E1 and FXO installed on the router but at this time i am testing it with IP Phone where as the result is same for IP Phone and Analog phone, please elaborate if you are asking something different. Below is the Dial-Peer for AA service.

dial-peer voice 100 voip

service aa

destination-pattern 8888

session target ipv4:192.168.1.20

incoming called-number 8888

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

codec g711ulaw

no vad

thanks

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

Hi, the DP should pots, not voip. Voip is not needed for B-ACD to work.

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

Hi

That behavior normally happens when the sript can't find the welcome greeting.

It fails because you configured"

"param welcome-prompt en_bacd_welcome.au"

and it should have been without the "en"

only

"welcome-prompt _bacd_welcome.au"

Make sure the file is saved in flash.

Thanks

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

Does the call come in via pots? So create an incoming pots DP with service aa as I had indicated before.

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

Have you remove the unnecessary pots DP?

Which type of pots is this?

New Member

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

I am testing bacd on DP for FXO, but it will actually be running on E1.

What do you mean by un-necessary pots DP. Kindly explain the effect of these DP in this case.

Thanks.

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

You should not have voip DP to reach B-ACD via pots interface.

Please post complete configuration, enable "debug vpm signal", and take the trace again.

Re: B-ACD welcome script start delay

It has been resolved.

Actually the problem was with param welcome prompt. As you see above i put en laguage-code in the welcome prompt where as i have already configured it in another param. When i removed the en, it is working properly.

Anyway thanks for all the support provided in this regards.

Thanks.
