Backing up CDR using SQL

Hello,

I would like to backup CDR in CCM Publisher and was told that I can't just copy and paste, instead I'd have to use SQL to do it.

Anyone can help me on how this can be achieved? I'm very new to SQL.

Have you tried using BARS to backup CDR/CAR information. Please note that BARS is the ONLY supported method of backup with regard to CallManager. Any other method used to Backup CallManager/CDR is not Cisco TAC supported and if you are doing it, there would be no supported provided by TAC.
