I would like to configure a backup outgoing SIP trunk dial-peer but am unsure on how to do this. My first thought is to add a second dial-peer with a higher preference so that the first/primary outgoing dial-peer is always matched. However, what would cause the call to go to the second dial-peer? If the IP of the primary is not available will this make the call go to the 2nd? Is there some kind of limit on simultaneous outgoing calls with the primary SIP trunk that will make calls go to the second? I only want the second provider to be used when the first is unavailble due to network or provider techinal dificulty.
