Best way to replicate Nortel "speed dial group" on CUCM
I have users on a Nortel system that currently have something they call a "speed dial group". This group is a list of extensions that are called when a Nortel user presses a programmed speed dial button - then enters the speed dial group number. And there is one user that is designated as the admin for that group, so they can add/delete extensions.
I am trying to replicate this functionality on CUCM 7.1.3. Here's what I've come up with:
1. Create a line group with "Broadcast" distribution, assign DNs
2. Create hunt list, with line group and a hunt pilot number
3. Assign hunt pilot number to a speed dial for AbbrDial softkey (I don't want to put these on the line buttons)
Do you think the above solution is the best way to go about it? Also, can I assign an individual user to manage this list?
