block external number

Hi experts,

2 of our users have asked to block specific external numbers to go to their specific extension/s.

Is this possible on CM 4.1(3)? How?

There are PLENTY of posts on blocking calls, please try the search NetPro function

This is ONLY possible with H323, if you use MGCP there is no way to do this. CCM/CUCM version is irrelevant for the procedure

This blocks ALL calls from those numbers, there is no way to block them only when they dialed to someone in specific

We have development a software product for block external number which running on a seperate linux server. you can contact me by email lxiao.g@gmail.com.

Our customer same as your customer, and use same version CM 4.1(3). and use MGCP Voice Gateway.

Our product has a web base configure UI customer can configure want to blocked numbers to protect theirself IP Phone. and system administrator can configure global block numbers for all IP Phones.

And the key point that our product don't care the Voice Gateway using h.323 or MGCP.
