For some reason our bulk speed dial list on a CME 7.1 unit no longer works unless you lift the handset first.
We used to be able to dial #9020 and then the "dial" softkey but now we cant the phone gives the error tone and we see nothing in debug isdn q931
If we lift the handset first and dial #9020 the call connects correctly.

Hi Andy,
Are you sure it wasn't New Call > #9020
Cheers!

Hi Rob,
To be honest its one of our customers and they swear blind they dialled #9020 then "dial" prior to the weekend, and when they came in this morning it didnt work.
If you press New Call first then #9020 that works fine, but they dont want to do that
I dont have a similar system to try/test it.
Cheers

Hi Andy,
Well....the customer is always right
Are they using the same phone model that they always use? Did
any config changes take place? Did you check the Bulk lists? Any
power outage?
Cheers!

Hi Andy,

Cheers!

Hi Rob,
Yeah the phones can dial any number "onhook" and then press the dial button and the call is established, apart from the bulk dial numbers.
Cheers
Andy
