Business Attendant Console CUB-ATT-CON Boot from SAN?
Does anyone out there know if Business Attendant Console server CUB-ATT-CON can Boot from SAN? As Cisco's version is not supportted in a virtual envirnoment I have a customer who would like some kind of redundancy with the CUB-ATT server.
Re: Business Attendant Console CUB-ATT-CON Boot from SAN?
The will it be supported questions are always the stickiest. I'm sure there hasn't been any direct testing of booting a CUBAC from SAN but there really isn't a reason it won't work. TAC should assist the customer in troubleshooting any issues with the application. If however it turns out that the SAN is affecting the CUBAC application they could ask that it be reinstalled locally.
If you want the official answer it'll always be "If it hasn't been tested, it's not supported." Common sense would tell us that this type of solution shouldn't in any way effect the application other then enhance the performance.
