CUCMBE runs CUCM under the hood, which can be integrated with Lync via SIP Trunk and/or CUCILYNC (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/uc_system/UC8.5.1/release_notes/rnipt851.html#wp1669174).

Here is a nice article on CUCM and Lync integration :

http://voipnorm.blogspot.com.au/2010/12/cisco-and-microsoft-lync.html

http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=26800

SIP Trunks do not deduct device licenses (DLUs) from the CUCMBE, but if you decide to use CUCILYNC, it will consume some DLUs.

Cheers,

Boris

Hi Luke,

Please elaborate on the integration requirements.

You can setup SIP Trunk and send calls between the systems, but I guess you are looking for something else, right?

Cheers,

Boris
