C2911-CME-SRST/K9 cme-srst licence - upgrade from 25 to 50?

The router comes with 25 right-to-use licences; the customer has added more phones and would like to upgrade this to 50.  How do you go about getting the router to recognise the fact that it can use 50 if there is no licence to install?  They've purchased a L-FL-CME-SRST-25=

Last time CUCM went down 25 phones failed over correctly but the others were showing 'Registration rejected: max phones'.

Thanks in advance,

Jason

I don't believe the SRST licenses are a counted, i think this still uses the honour system.

make sure on your router config the "max-ephones" is set to 50 not to 25

Answered my own question - increase max-ephones to 50...  Cisco must be very trusting these days.

True, but legally you are still obligated to purchase SRST licenses. The part number is:

FL-CME-SRST-25 for additional 25 seats.
