C7942 no display

Hi ;

I encounter issue with C7942 IP Phone, where by try to reset to factory reset, but fails.

I follow the right procedure, I did power cycle by press # key, wait till the lines button blinking in sequesce. Then follow by 123456789*0#.

Now the disply go blank, show nothing. Power cycle again, show blank LCD.

How to fix the issue ? pls advice. Thanks.

Hello Tan,

Please, Try connecting the phone to DHCP network, with option 150 and let it attempt to register to CUCM  ---> Download the phone F/w.

If you are already running DHCP or have attempted above, please raise a TAC SR for RMA.
