Call Admission Control

Hi,

I am having Call Manager version 4.2(3). I am having a H323 trunk to one of my gateway. I am having 1024 kbps bandwidth for this link towards this gateway.

I want to reserve 512 kbps of bandwidth for my incoming calls through this gateway. How can I acheive this ?

I understand that I can not do CAC as if I specify 512 kbps for a location binded to this gateway, then this 512 kbps will be collectively taken for incoming as well as outgoing calls. I can not specify 512kbps for only outgoing calls.

Does anyone has a solution for this ?

Thanks,

Pete

TO keep it simple you may try max-conn command under voip dial-peer.

Re: Call Admission Control

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Can we do anything on the Call Manager. Reason being this gateway is managed by a service provider, so not sure whether they will accept and apply this command or not ?

Thanks,

Pete
