Call Back on Busy Question

Dear All,

Our customer has using  CUCM 8.5.1,  IP Phone 6921, 7945 and 7965. We have setting Softkey for callback for IP Phone 6921, 7945 and 7965.

We have test  callback feature like this:

- User on IP Phone A call User B IP Phone. IP Phone User B condition on coversation with another IP Phone. When User on IP Phone A hear busy tone, User A press callback softkey and then hangup IP Phone

- When User on IP Phone B hangup Phone. IP Phone User A ringing with notification on screen with information called party line become available (

xxxx has become available Time <hh:mm mm/dd/yy>. Press Dial to Call.)

We receieve question from our customer about callback capabilities.

Our customer question are:

- Is it possible during call back playing audio notification, we off-hook IP Phone handset and then automatic calling called party line that become available (without Press Dial to Call)?

Call Back on Busy Question

Unfortunately the default behavior cannot be changed and you will need to press the softkey button. To my knowledge this feature is not widely used and Cisco has not made any changes to it in many years.
