Call classification & destinctive ringing

We are using CUCM 8.6 and want to distinguish internal from external calls. We need this only for the line settings (external: forward on busy, no answer, etc.).

As soon as I turn the call classification on "offnet" external calls ringing twice/double and internal calls normal. There must be a solution where I switch the call classification on offnet without change the ringing.

The only method on which you can change the ring for internal/external calls is via the call classification and it only changes the cadence of the ringtone.

There's no way to configure ringtone based on CFB, CFNA, etc. It's either classified as internal or external.

Unfortunately if you want to change the call classification it will affect the ringtone cadence and there's no way to prevent that from happening.

so there's no way to switch the call classification "offnet" and edit the cadence so that the external ringtone does not sound different from internal one?
