Call Direction information for recorder (Inbound/outbound) BIB

Hi all,

We implemented the BIB automatic recording using the SIP connection. After the codec problem was solved (Q.850 value = 49) recording of calls works fine. Due to the SIP Header Enhancement in vesion 8.5(1) the SIP header contains the farend destination information. However there is no information regarding the call direction. Who is the originator of the call? The agent (OUTBOUND) or the farend destination (INBOUND). The documentation states:

The enhancement increases scalability: the recorder no longer requires a CTI connection to Cisco

Unified Communications Manager to obtain far-end call information from Cisco Unified

Communications Manager.

Unquote.

If we don't have the call direction our database is incomplete. Sometimes you want to search for OUTBOUND calls only.

Do I miss somtething or can I retrieve this information in another way (not using the CTI).
