Level 1

We have Call Manager 6.1.1

I would like to set up the following.

Person calls ext: 8002, 8002 does not ring but the call goes to ext: 8001. If 8001 is busy or is not there, the call goes to ext: 8003. If 8003 is busy or is not there, the call goes to ext: 8002's voice mail.

Thank You in Advance.

CFB = CFNA = 8001

8001

CFB = CFNA = 8003

8003

CFB = CFNA = VM

Java,

That will not work to his requirements.

He wants 8002 to Call Forward ALL (not ring) to 8001.

The 8001 settings will work.

The 8003 will not work, because he wants the VM to go to 8002's vm.

I think a hunt pilot would work better with this.

8002 is the hunt pilot.

Forward to 8001

Busy, no answer to 8003

busy, no answer to vm pilot with 8002 as the calling number.

Then simply

8002

CFA = 8001

I'm assuming the DNs he mentions are phones because he does not provide that info

Yes the DN's are phones.

I have attached a screen shot of a phone can you please put on another screen shot the programming for 8002-8001-8003?

Thank You

In the Directory Number Configuration Page there is a section called:

Call Forward Call Pickup Settings.

There is a checkbox under voice mail and a text box under destination.

When You say CFA do I put a check under the voice mail or leave it unchecked and I will assume the destination will be the number it forwards to.

Then for the Ext 8001 do I put the destination for all the call forward and pickup to be 8003 and do I have the voice mail checked for each option.

8002

CFA = 8001

8001

CFB = CFNA = 8003

8003

CFB = CFNA = VM

call forward is one of the most basic things you should know how they work.

If you check VM checkbox, any other setting is ignored. If you don't, config destination and FW CSS.

You can use the help -> for this page, to understand each setting.
