Hi,
We are running CM4.1.3 - my question/problem is this - if a user selects cfwdall option from his phone and enters his mobile number all calls are forwarded onto his mobile, however the IP phone is part of a call forwarding plan and therefore all calls that are forward to the IP phone are re-directed out to the mobile.
Is there anyway around this, so that the IP phone automatically forwards the number to the next IP phone in the call forward plan and not out to the mobile.
hope this makes sense.
thanks
Rod

there is no way around it, it's a CF ALL
ignored if the call is routed thru a line group or hunt group. you can configure CFA override from a particular DN to have it ring.
but there is no option for what you want other than changing the CSS for CFA

Hi Rod,
Unfortunately there is no such feature. The only thing you can do is to use the CFWdAll CSS restriction so that you can reach only the numbers you need... otherwise users will be able to forward their phones to their mobiles as in this case.

Hi!
You can restrict the Call Forward All with a calling search space for Forward All so that the phone can not be forwarded to a mobile number. This might help as the user won't be able to forward to his mobile and you can forward to the phone you want instead.

Hi Teresa, thanks for your reply.
We can't restrict the call forward all option as its core to normal working day practises.
We are due to upgrade to UCM v7 - do you know if there is any additional feature that could get round my problem in v7?
Many thanks
Rod
