Call forward DN to Unity Call Handler

We are fairly new to CCM (6.1.2) and Unity (5.0) and we are currently working on deploying 120 7942/7962 phones. In working on the call flow, I'm unable to route a DN to a specific Call Handler which I've configured. Instead, it routes directly to the default Opening Greeting. Below is a basic description of the configuration.

Translation Pattern (2607) for Incoming DID - Transform Mask (7813)

Department Call Handler (7813) -> Standard Greeting -> Send Caller To Regular Hours Call Handler

-> Closed Greeting -> Send Caller To Closed Call Handler

Regular Hours Call Handler

Transfer (Standard & Alternate) to DN (8350)

Closed Call Handler

     Greeting

Dept No Answer Call Handler (7828)

     Greeting

The Call Forward settings for the DN (8350) are configured for the Dept No Answer Call Handler (7828). However, it routes to the Opening Greeting instead of this Call Handler. I can call 7828 from another DN and it plays the correct greeting. Thanks for your assistance.

Hi there,

sounds like you might resolve this with the Unity call routing rules.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/5x/administration/guide/ex/5xcusag030e.html#wp1047784http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/5x/interface_reference/guide/dom/50curg100d.html

create a Forwarded Calls route from 7828 that to goes to the Dept No Answer Call Handler.

Thanks Paul! I've never noticed the Fowarded Calls setting in Unity within Call Routing. I was able to get this working correctly within a few minutes, thanks again!
