Call Forward to voicemail (via CFNA)

Scenario is this:

ip phone -CFNA-> ip phone -CFNA-> (QSIG/6608E1) to Mitel PBX -> to Octel Voicemail

ip phone will call voicemail correctly

ip phone when CFNA to another phone calls voicemail, but does go to the correct VM box (goes to open tree).

Any ideas.

Hi!

I'm not very familiar with the Octel VM system, but this issue happens on Unity too. The problem is as follows.

When a user calls VM directly it goes to his greeting as it's a VM user.

When a call arrives to the VM server from another DN that is not recognized as a VM user it will play by default the opening greeting. In Unity we usually configure a call routing rule, not sure if you can do that in Octel, but basically say configure it so when a call comes in with forwarding extension XXXX send it to user's VM X and that's it.

The Octel has the option of an alias - tried that - no luck.
