Hello-
I am building a call handler on Unity connection 8 which plays a greeting message to callers that says something like "If you know your parties extension please dial it now"...When this greeting is played I want to allow a specified number of seconds to play nothing but silence while the caller input the extension. The .WAV file professionally made so as soon as it plays the greeting it ends so I have to somehow play another 30 seconds of silence.
Is there anyway to inject silence after a call handler greeting is played?

Hi there,
Yes ATM and all the great Unity tools are free. They are developed by Lindborg
and the folks @ Cisco's messaging BU. We use ATM, User data dump, Remote Port
status monitor, bulk delete/reset all the time. It makes life much easier
Cheers!

Hi there,
I think you could use this section under the Greeting page
to achieve this;
* | seconds |
I used re-prompt = 1
Delay = 30 seconds
Cheers!

Thanks Rob..I dont neccesarily want to replay the greeting I just want to play silence for say 30 seconds. If nothing happens in that 30 seconds I want to move onto another greeting altogether...
Not sure If the above will work for that?

What Rob stated above is what you need to do. Just put "0" for re-prompt.

OK
You can use ATM from the great suite of Unity Tools to insert silence
into a recorded greeting as well.

This is a fantastic tool as are all the tools from Jeff & his team.
Cheers!
