I have call manager 6.X BE and I'm using route filters for call control. On the local calls route filter I have :
area-code does-not-exist
local-area-code does-not-exist
international-access does-not-exist
I am also using NANP. My trouble is if a set is placed in local dial only I'm still able to dial 8 didgits (my local is 7) and hit the gateway. The gateway will fail the call after the 9th digit is pressed but call manager should have not let the call make it to the gateway because of the route filter. Any ideas????

use DNA to confirm you're hitting the right route pattern
DNA will tell you how CUCM thinks and if it's hitting that pattern, why it choosing it
HTH
java
if this helps, please rate

I have used DNA and I am hitting the right route pattern because it says Block this Pattern, but instead of hearing the unity voice of this call can not be routed I get a busy signal from the gateway blocking the call because it does not recognize the number.
