Call manager v4.0 wrong number on call forwarding

I need guidance on call forwarding configuration. My call manager ipt ext fowards to external number operates very strange. my did is 6828 ext 7433, I forward all call to 9 92989092 (external number. When an external party 9160 2101 calls 6828 7433, debug shows incoming call from 9160 2101. but when this call goes to forward process, it shows calls from 6828 2101 to 9298 9092. 9298 9092 (my cell phone)shows a call from my prime number 6828 7333 (neither from 6828 2101 nor my ext 6828 7433). if I dial from an internal ext 7331 to 7433 (call forward), my cell phone shows 6828 7331. The call manager mixed up the process. When we put call manager in production in 2004, it did not behave like this.

Re: Call manager v4.0 wrong number on call forwarding

Hi,

I found the following:

Analisys is attached.

Please check Calling Party transform masks in the Route List: DH-APDS-1-PSTN-RL or in Route Pattern:

9.[689]XXXXXXX in partition: DH-APDS-1-8DIGITLOCAL

Re: Call manager v4.0 wrong number on call forwarding

Hi...

9160 2101 --> DID 6828 --> 9 92989092

ext 7433

(my cell phone)shows a call from my prime number 6828 7333 (neither from 6828 2101 nor my ext 6828 7433).

Normally if u see in the debug isdn q931 if T1 PRI, CCM in the debug isdn q931 for the outgoing call...u DO see the original CALLING NUMBER 9160 2101, but in the cell phone appears your MAIN NUMBER Telco is the culprit.

I have seen this before when Telco just overwrittes the original calling number since its not a valid number for that circuit...

If you check the debug isdn q931 you will confirm this.

Let us know.

Re: Call manager v4.0 wrong number on call forwarding

my debug show call mgr or gateway router throws out 6828 7489 (combines price number 6828 and last 4 of my cell phone 7489. Telco takes/sends 6828 7489 the prime number to 9 92989092.

Gogasca

I attached the trace cm00000 218 & 219. I created the incident at 08:05 to 08:07 time frame.

ext 7433 forwarded to cell phone 992989092. call from 2nd cell phone 9626 7489 to 6828 7433. forwarded cell phone shows call coming from 6828 7489. Let me know if you need more information.

Re: Call manager v4.0 wrong number on call forwarding

I have transform masks 6828XXXX in pattern 9.[689]XXXXXXX. I deleted it and number displayed at forward calling party is PTT's assigned prime number 6828 7333. instead of mixed number 6828 7489. I hope this resolved my issue. thanks for your effort.
