We are looking for ways to resume call manager operations after a UPS controlled power shutdown of ESXi based virtual machines including CUCM 8.6.
Scripting the utils system shutdown command has proven difficult due to the interactive nature of this command. One of my colleagues has asked if it is possible to pause or suspend the virtual machines. I know that VMware has this option available but my question to the forum is whether this would work with CUCM or whether it is likely to result in a corrupt VM?
