Hi Everyone
I am trying to make call from phone A cluster 1 to phone B cluster 2.
Call hits the Phone B and will click speaker button there is no audio and in phone A can hear call ringing tone, and the call gets disconnected after 8 seconds.
I have H.323 gateway on both clusters and no mentioned any codec on the router
I am testing this in my lab and there is no location or region set everything is to default. The phone is using sccp 7960.

Hi,
did you verify that ip routing between Phone a and phone B exists?
From IP Phone A’s subnet you should be able to ping II Phone B
Please let me know.

Phone A is making a call to Phone B and its ringing, I guess this says the route is there right?

Hi,
No.
That means that Cluster A can reach Cluster B and each Cluster can reach their own IP Phones.
Once the call is established, rtp traffic goes directly between IP Phones

Hi,
That test could not be enough.
If Router A has an interface directly connected to IP Phone A , you can try to ping using extended ping or a ping with “source” option.
Eg.
ping 10.20.1.10 source 10.10.1.1 ( where 10.10.1.1 is the Router A ip address )
Please give it a try and let me know
Thanks

Are both softphones?
If yes, try to ping from the pc wher softphone A is installed on to the other IP Phone/Softphone.
Please let me know
Thanks

Is there a firewall between 2 sites? If so, maybe the RTP packets are being dropped because of a policy.
Another thing I would also do, I would take a packet capture from both sides and see what's wrong.

Any firewall on the pc where Softphones are installed?

Hi
When the call is established, run the following command on both gateways:
show voip rtp connection
and please post the output
Thanks
