I am looking for advice on how to configure this. We have a building containing manufacturing and office staff. The location would like the ability to pick up the night ringer (closed hours) from any phone in the building and also pick up the main line (open hours) from any phone.
I enabled the service parameter Auto Call Pickup Enabled. So each phone should have the ability to just press the pickup softkey from any phone to either answer the main line or night ringer depending on the time of day.
I created 2 call pickup groups.
One for the Night Bell
One for the Main Line
Each are assigned a group number although that should not be needed
Each are assigned the same Parititon that each phone has a CSS assigned to.
Is this possible? I know the phones can only be assigned to one Call Pickup Group
