Call Pickup

I have users that are in the same pickup group yet can not pickup a call to another phone once they place their current phone call on hold.

Is this not a feature you can use?

Example: User is on the phone with a call. Puts that person on hold and tries to retreive the call to another users desk via the Pickup softkey. They can not get the call that is going to tha other users desk.

This works just fine as long as someone is not on hold.

It's not supposed to work, once you answer the pickup table is cleared and it's YOUR call so no one can pick it.

Call Pickup

If a user invokes call pickup to pick up a call from a phone that has no incoming calls, the user receives a "No Call(s) for Pickup" message. If a user invokes call pickup to pick up a ringing call from a DN for which the user is not configured to pick up calls, the user receives reorder tone.

Use park/directed park for that purpose if that's what you need.

The only way you can pick calls on hold is using shared lines.

Hi Bill,

This can be done when you have a call on Hold. You need to use this key sequence;

Hold > New Call > Pickup
