We're using a CUCM 6.1.4 and now trying to setup a call recording.
I use a SIP Trunk to signalize to the recording server. The phones of third generation have Built-In-Bridge enabled, Recording Profile on the Line ist defined an enabled too. The recording profile reffers to a route pattern which has the sip trunk as its gateway.
If a call on an enabled phone is initiated i hear the recording tone, but nothing happens on the external recording server. I'm not even sure if the phone is setting up a conference to double the stream and send it to the server.
Does anybody know of similar problem or can tell me how to resolve the problem or at leat control, that the phone is really setting up the conference.
On the target server no SIP packets from the callmanager or the phone arrive
Please make you have privacy off & built-in bridge enabled on the device level, the RTP stream is folked from the phone, you can have a sniffer from the phone switch port, and see if you have RTP stream goes to recording server.

answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
