call rings from PSTN before the IP Phone

Hi,

I have Cisco 2821 router IOS version 12.4(11)XW1, with FXO ports.

incoming calls to FXO from the PSTN side rings twice before it rings on the IP phone.

I have the same issue using call manager and call manager express.

could you please advice.

Do you have caller-id enabled ?

Yes, caller-ID is enabled on the router on all FXO ports

You may need to upgreade to a minimum of 12.3XW to use "immediate" in "connection plar opx". Check:
